- This tour starts in Galway City, where you will be picked up outside The Hyde Hotel, 10 Foster Street, Galway City, H91 PY7E
Departure is at 10:30am – Please check-in at 10:15am at Hyde Hotel***Please note your travel time to the meet point in Galway City centre as the area can often get congested in morning traffic.
- Embark on a spectacular journey from Galway City into the heart of Connemara, where the magic of Ireland unfolds before your eyes. Discover breathtaking landscapes, shimmering lakes and the dramatic peaks of the Twelve Bens mountain range, all while your expert guide brings the culture and history of this captivating region to life.
- You will see shimmering lakes such as Lough Corrib, Lough Inagh and Lough Derryclare. Witness the reflection of the surrounding mountains, creating a serene and mesmerizing vista. The beauty of these mirrored lakes is a testament to the untouched splendor of Connemara.
- Visit Kylemore Abbey & Victorian walled gardens ( entry included) before you head to Joyce county to experience a traditional Sheepdog Demonstration.
- Continue on to enjoy a rare opportunity to visit a working sheep farm, where you’ll delight in a lively sheep dog demonstration by a third-generation farmer and perhaps even hold a baby lamb or cuddle a sheepdog puppy (seasonally available).
- From Joyce Country you will drive back through scenic Connemara towns and Gaeltacht region until you reach Galway City for approximately 6:00pm where guests will be dropped back off to the Hyde Hotel to enjoy their evening.
