The Shooting School is set on the spectacular Ashford Estate and boasts an enviable shooting history and heritage. This heritage dating from the Browne’s and on to the Guinness family’s involvement in the World record ‘Woodcock’ shoots of the early 1900’s makes it a unique and special environment. There is an excellent Sporting Clays layout with a vast array of clay targets to shoot. In addition, we have covered shooting stands making it comfortable for shooting in all weather conditions. Our excellent team of experienced and knowledgeable instructors cater well for all abilities and experience levels. You will be provided with the necessary instruction and safety briefing before commencing shooting. Please wear something warm and comfortable and be prepared to enjoy the experience. Each person is limited to 25 cartridges in the standard price, thereafter the extra cartridges will be charged for, if required. Participants do not need any prior experience. Tuition and an experienced host are on hand at all times to facilitate the experience along with World Class equipment that you will require. This activity is not available to those under 16 years of age. The newly opened gun rooms are also available to guests interested in upgrading or investing in some of the finest shotguns on the market. Guests from outside the EU can avail of a tax free purchase, saving up to 23% off the RRP.
